Stephen Evans specialises in Wills & Probate, Corporate, Tax , Inheritance Law. Stephen also deals with family law and matrimonial matters.

He focuses primarily on general litigation, and acts for both Plaintiffs and Defendants representing individuals, corporate bodies and insurance companies. His main focus is on debt recovery, personal injury and credit hire.

He also specialises in criminal defence work, representing individuals and corporate bodies in the defence of Government prosecutions.

Stephen also has a focus on family law and matrimonial matters dealing with cases involving issues like separations, divorces, ancillary relief and children order issues.

Stephen was born in south Africa and he practices law as a foreign Registered lawyer in the UK.

He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in Law (Majoring in Financial Accounting and Taxation) in 1992 and his Bachelor of Law in 1996 at the University of Pretoria.

During his time in university, Stephen was an integral member of the Student Disciplinary Advisory Panel, where he served as Chairperson and procedural advisor, providing assistance to students who faced charges of misconduct. Seeking further legal experience, he joined the University of Pretoria’s Law Clinic in his final year of studies, where he encountered a range of ethical, professional, and practical considerations that proved to be invaluable to his legal career.

With a natural inclination towards questioning, discerning, and advocating ideas and justifications, Stephen found that law was the perfect fit for him. He believes that committing to professional development and accepting that every day is a school day are key to his legal development and practice.
